Just installed Google Chrome for Ubuntu on my tired laptop.

Woah!

ZOOM!
its raaather fast compared to Firefox, even with the swishy singletrack adverts, there is no lag at all.

i tried it at work on windows and was dissapointed, but the Linux version is looking good so far!

Like it on Windows, horrid on Mac. Feels like theres lag between clicking, pressing a key and seeing the response.

FFx 3.6 seems good so far. Worth it for Greasemonkey alone tbh

Firefox 3.6 is out and it's slightly faster than 3.5

I like Google Chrome, but it's a bit too basic for me.
Can't compete with the features of Firefox

So which of those don't you get with Chrome? Admittedly you do need to use the Beta stream of Chrome to get some features, but that seems to be plenty stable enough.

The linux version is ace, like you say. Much quicker than Firefox, but sticking to FF and Safari on the mac for now I think.

I'm liking it too, only ever used IE before and it's much faster and the spell check is useful.

I like it because on a netbook it doesn't fill half the screen with it's interface. Quick too.
