I like the Marina Cafe right on the front by the port roundabout.
The same company also run a pizza place on the main square which is very nice.

Roadies rave on about Tolos, but I found it a bit meh - worth going in to see the wiggo memorabilia including his yellow 2012 tdf bike though.

+1 nothing wrong with it but they are all much of a muchness really. the boat hire place on the beach opposite is worth a look if you fancy a go at windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding or sailing.

doesn't the bike hire place have a cafe now?

LIttle Italy Pizza place is very good - right on the sea front and massive pizzas.

If you can, go to Pollenca itself - loads of really nice resturants in the main square. I recommend the tapas place in the bar at the top near the church.

Cant remember the name but there's a great little place renowned for doing local chicken dishes, it's just around the corner from the Puerto Pollensa Park hotel (not on the seafront).

The Stay is good located by the port, can be expensive, but stick to the set menu and you can get top food for a reasonable price.

cheers all.

Been here almost a week and I have to say Majorca isn't brilliant value. Prices are similar and sometimes higher than France?Alps but the quality isn't as high. Great weather but they need to think a bit harder about their pricing if they want me to come back.

I agree it's not cheap, when I go back now I do an all inclusive deal.

I got a rum and coke at a beach bar the other day and they wanted 9.50 euros! 9 euros 50! garlic bread! Needless to say we didn't stop to eat there...

It's true, the food and drinks are on the priceier side, but the location and cheap flights/accommodation make up for it IMHO

Priced to keep the riff raff away. Head along to Magaluf if you want cheaper prices.

supermarkets are cheap, lactofree milk cheaper than tesco
and I found in our hotel is 1e50 for lovely hand made cappuccino served on silver tray with little biscuit far better than anything in UK ...
When I see something pricey I think "yeah but if this was England with this kinda weather with these kinda breaches and quality of roads and riding , it would be 5 times the price and cost 3quid an hour to park and be nescafe in polystyrene cup"..... im lookin at you lake district....
