Has anybody here ever sacked in their job to go back to uni to retrain at the age of late 20s early 30s? I ask because I'm considering it. Was it a good decision for you? I'm thinking of a career as in IFA ultimately but need a qualificatio before hand! Any advice/experiences would be interesting.
I left my job last year to go to uni, aged 34. The main thing would be if you can afford to do it. If so, and you need the qualification to do what you want, have you any other choice?
I've been enjoying my course but have realised I don't need a degree to do what I want! I'm still going to stick with it though.
first question, do you have a degree. Check the fees structure. When i looked, not in detail mind, having a degree seems to prevent you geting any of the loans to pay the tution fees for a second degree.
you don't need to go to uni to be an ifa, you can do the fpc at home.
