I eventually got the thing to charge off the mains.
I did the update, I have been able to to take some stills but no video (it records the sound only).
I then re formatted the micro SD ( class 10 Sandisk)
Any Idea's ? before I send it back.
Is it a real Sandisk?

Can't remember if that is compatible, download VLC.
sounds like you are missing the correct codec
