The Mrs has given me an impossible task to get some gold glitter eye shadow from a shop ! (no time to order from the internet)

What's good ? I phoned our local costume shop who recommended I buy Snazaroo glitter gel which sounds good but its not eye shadow !

Boots or superdrug ?

What do I buy ????

Mac makeup from big department store should have something to suit.

My OH is partial to some glitter at parties/festivals.

The norm seems to be smear of Vaseline then dab with one of the myriad of different cosmetic 'glitters' available.

Apologies for genuine answer

I don't think you can easily buy glittery eyeshadow, you get the effect with a base coat and then a separate glitter.

Try going into a big chemists or department store, and chatting up one of the out of work models that staff the make up counters. They'll set you right.

As others have suggested, Mac cosmetics (you'll need a big department store rather than Boots or Superdrug). Otherwise, if Boots or Superdrug are the only places look for Barrie M cosmetics - lots of glittery options.
