Thinking of taking my 8 year old here tomorrow. Is it boring or fun or hard? ( Compared to green at Laggan?

As you were, thought this was going to be a whisky thread. I have nothing further to add.

The original blue trail is fine, but they'll almost certainly enjoy the newer blue trails closer to the centre more, such as Bazza's Berms and the skills area stuff, even the Mini-DH is all rollable.

At 8, I'd go for the second half of the blue - take the fireroad from the cafe past the start of the blue trail and keep going up the hill until you come to the trails again. Then it's blue trail back to the cafe.

The full blue loop has an energy sapping section midway, moreso if it's windy.

Bazzas berms is also a good shout, but it is a bit of a climb back up the road again.

If you do the miniDH, be aware of the steep drop right at the end of it.
