Elbow: Good, but no surprises.
They're doing Radiohead covers?Radiohead: What happened in the last 20 years...
They constantly innovated?POSTED 2 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST
That I would pay to see ๐ Although, its questionable when necessity is the mother of invention, what have Radiohead been running from?
Lorde is a bit underwhelming after the first thee songs.
People raving about Royal Blood on faceache so I'll watch them next.

Jamie got to that joke first ๐
Quite enjoyed Blossoms, having never seen them before. But their guitarists could've put a bit more effort into looking like they were pleased to be there. Shame that Chase and Status didn't come on and guest cover their VIP remix of This is the moment.
Getting' good now
Oh... Tempest is really rather good
Radiohead are still depressingly crap after 20 years!
Greenwood on snare, for when two drummers are not enough...
Agree about the last twenty years going fast. Remember seeing Radiohead in 97 at the Glastonbury mud fest. I can't really be 20 years older can I, I don't feel it?
I thought Royal Blood were seriously bland.
Hmm. I think I would reserve that word for Elbow. With Radiohead not far behind.
Are radiohead playing three different songs at the same time??
IANM (I am no musician) but they sound awful.....
Annie Mac on to liven things up a little......
I don't know, this jazzy stuff is quite cool.
Idioteque ๐
Sleaford mods are the highlight for me so far, I caught lorde-green light, bloody good pop song
I don't mind RH but this is hard work...
And playing guitar with Cello bow has just sent me over the edge.

Even though it's not usually my thing, I can't help but like Lorde's stuff, even if she is just Tiffany with a Silvia Plath Brodies Notes.
Time to get noodley
Last years line up seems so much more appealing if only for a weekend of sofa gigging...highlights were
Christine and the queens who are always excellent
Underworld, who looked like 2 drunk uncles doing DJ-oke at a wedding... brilliant.....
Watching the above on you tube now and still makes me smile every time, hopefully things will pick up tomorrow.
Radiohead and Royal Blood...They create such a great noise
Men who let women sit on your shoulders at gigs.
Why?
Giant flags or banners at gigs that only block the view of those behind....

Hoping for a shag in the tent later I think.
Any Dance DJ's on the bill ??
Major lazer currently on the other stage with drumming girls in hot pants! Woke me up out of the coma that Radioheaad put me in.
That Royal Blood outro song was something to behold as well.
Really enjoyed the first 40 odd mins of Radiohead... getting bored now though and theres a little rugby match to get up for in the morning. Off to my tent.
F*** me. I'm in my fifties and I'm preferring Dizzee Rascal on BBC4 to the dreary whining and self-indulgent crap that Radiohead are churning their way through on BBC2
Ps.
Clapping along to the beat like a 3 year old at gigs.

Oh yes. How terribly demeaning.
Out of interest, since Ii have never been, but doesn't the proximity of so many bands playing at the same time mean that you end up hearing more than one. Can't believe those tents are soundproofed.
You can hear other stages when yours goes quiet, but not very well.
Annie Mac is no Fatboy Slim..... might have to revert to radiohead....
harry too - DONT DO IT - it's even worse than a Coldplay performance
I'm kinda liking them, although I've never really been into them. I know a few tunes, think I'd def prefer them live then listening to them on Spotify.
Flaming lips are putting on quite a festival experience, Wayne sure does have a suitable ego for a frontman.
radiohead being ace, love it
Loved Radiohead's set, Royal Blood didn't let the side down and The XX were pretty good too though i thought the drum machine guy ruined intro a bit...seemed to go off on his own pace.
JONNY ****ING GREENWOOD.
Never realised Radiohead were quite so soporific. Led on sofa, fell asleep in the first song and just this minute woken up. Tis all a bit ...dull. I guess I should of gone out and bought an eighth.
I'm no Radiohead fan but they are absolutely killing it. A superb performance.
had a hard week so finding it relaxing...background drone.
Caught up on my sleep during Elbow as always. Radiohead now making Elbow look good

This. Reasonable, inoffensive background music. Shame really...
Ride still the highlight of what I've seen so far.
I was (and i suppose still am as Kid A is one of my most played albums) a big radiohead fan and seen them play some great gigs over the years.
However ive never really found them to translate well to a festival setting. I can appreciate the muscianship but tonight sounded flat and soulless. Dizzee Rascal looked and sounded much more fun.
Flaming Lips perfect sparkling tribute to the late David Bowie with their performance of 'Space Oddity' At the crescendo (and inside a giant bubble) Wayne Coyne launched out across an ocean of upstretched hands.
Nothing will top this for me, shall sleep smiling tonight ๐
