We're putting a glass and steel balustrade on the balcony of my mums house as the old steel one is falling apart.
We've been quoted for 613 stainless steel posts, is this a good grade with regards to corrosion resistance?

Probably 316 not 613... If it's 316 that will be fine... Avoid 304 as it will blemish, although it is cheaper

501 but make sure it is pre-shrunk

Oops, yes it's 316 we've been quoted for not 613!!

Ask them to quote for Titanium.
