4 tickets for hockey (morning) and 4 tickets for athletics (evening), both on the same day!!

Well pleased with that as I took a punt on a wide spread of athletics, swimming and track cycling with some hockey on the side.

for those without the email - have you checked your spam folders?

We got one (early rounds) session of athletics, missed out on the opening ceremony, athletics finals, cycling and swimming.

Lawn bowls final. Because that's how I roll, seriously.

Her indoors has applied for all the blue riband events, her potential bill is about £1500!

none, looks like I'll be relying on luck to be successful in becoming a volunteer if I want to be close to any of the action.

I didn't apply. Having applied for 18 events for London 2012 and got nothing I skipped the ballot. I picked up some great tickets for 2012 although had to pay top price at least I knew what I was getting. Lucky enough to watch road race and time trials as I live locally for free, that I liked !

I'll see what comes up for sale for Glasgow but the TdF looks far more appealing and "free"

Only got one event so doesn't really seem worth the trip. Anyone want some Hockey tickets?

Can't help thinking this is a shit process where the people who are real fans and participate can't get tickets. Surely it would be better to distribute them through the sports governing bodies first.

Got tickets for the Judo on the Saturday night.

It'll bring back memories of my time spent living in a flat on Sauchiehall St, watching the locals doing their own local version of Judo on a Saturday night. Didn't need a T.V. back then.

It will be interesting to see what percentage of tickets are available to the public, at the Olympics it was 19% for athletics finals. All the 2012 tickets I got were re-sales of athletics authorities unwanted seats.
