I'm waiting to fly out of Calgary tonight and I am wasting time arguing with people on the internet.
1. I am ill but feeling a little better today and have not slept for the last two nights.
2. I have to check out of my hotel room at 12:00 (currently 11:20)
3. My flight is at 10:30, so checking in will be 19:30-20:00
That give me 7.5 hrs to kill. Needs to be cheap as I'm broke. I have been to Bass Pro with people many times. I've driven to Banff many time and it is just frustrating to not be able to do anything fun and walk around the tourist crap. My family that live in Ab are working so I can't go see them. I might go look at some pawn shops. I will pop into dinner for a pre flight monster meal. Any other ideas?

Drumheller for a visit to the Royal Tyrrell museum? It's only 1.5 hours each way and I find it fantastic (but I'm a geologist so I'm a little bit biased)
Glenbow museum?
Take the C-train south to Fishcreek park and go for a stroll?
Wander around downtown Calgary wearing a "Ducks" Jersey 👿
