Next year I would like a change from Mallorca and fancy a trip to Girona, to hopefully avoid the tourist tat.
Has anybody found a decent small apartment, with access to a pool and outside space for chillaxing for a reasonable price?
Hotel Nord 1901
I'm ignoring the distinction between Hotel and Apartment, but it was spot on for a group of us from Scotland. Just a lovely wee place with its own little cafe/bar downstairs that would bring you a tasty beer + lunch. Comically tiny pool but just enough for a refreshing dip after a hot ride.
Poolside caught plenty of sun, if we weren't exploring Girona in the afternoon we were relaxing with a beer poolside.
Couldn't comment on price, we were a mixed group but we were all happy with the cost for the week.
Try Hotel Can Blanc near Olot in the Garrotxa or Joanetes (El Ferres). For an out of the way place to stay.
