My wife suggested we watch it. She hates violence on TV. Big fail on her part.
It is excellent tele

Watching it old school style, week by week. Loving it. Owes quote a debt to Tarantino in many ways IMO (lots of stylistic nods to Kill Bill unsurprisingly) but that's not a bad thing for me.

We recently finished watching it -- I thought it was fantastic.

Just stylised enough (the recap sections) without getting annoying. Well scripted storyline, and lovely looking enough to let you forgive its slightly ponderous pacing at times. And some great acting: that scene where the Kenzo and Sarah just sit silently staring into one another's eyes in the restaurant in particular was amazing.

Great stuff, and great to see it on the BBC too.

We also watched The Capture on the BBC in recent times, which was also really good. It must be Autumn, eh?

Watched the first episode last night. It's very atmospheric but a bit slow paced. Does it improve?

Just into episode 5. It’s excellent!

Absolutely loving the acid dialogue from ‘Rodney’ the Japanese rent boy, who’s the best character in it

“Am I dead?”

“No. You’re not dead, you’re in a ****ing Uber!”

It’s all very Tarantino. In a good way

+1 for Rodney, he's funny.. Really enjoying this too. My TV would be well boring if it wasn't for the STw massive recommendations..

Finished watching it last night.
Quality telly, excellent all the way through.
I liked the slow start and the small details. Doing the recaps in picture form was great, very clever.

I thought it was perfect.
Maybe go back and watch the dance scene again.
I am not a huge contemporary dance fan but that was a beautiful way of tying up a story.

Yep, that's how I saw it. The dance scene was key. Then the final scene.
