I'm seeing a band at Cardiff Castle in August, I'm only a couple of hours from Cardiff, so was planning to drive up, park, gig and then drive home on the night.
Does anyone have any recommendations for where to park when coming in on the M4 westbound and then leaving on the eastbound? ie in from England and out to England 😂
There is an open-air NCP carpark on Adam Street, just past the prison. It is easy to get to and about a 15 minute walk to/from the castle.
Wherever you park you will have to queue to get out of the city but this carpark at least puts you on the right side of town.
Another option is the pay and display parking on North Road. Very close to the castle but gets full quickly.
(I'll be there on Sunday to see David Byrne. Can't wait.)
There was a thread about this recently, in the end lots of recommendations to catch the train in from eg Radyr or Taff's Well.
