We've a couple, at least, of pigeon nests around our house- one at least on or on the chimney( we're regularly getting feathers in the fireplace) and another in a tree at the side of the house. Can we get rid of the,, and if so, what's the most sensible way of going about this?

See if you have a local falconer, and ask him/her to bring the hawks around for some excersise.

Our cats sleep too much to seriously bother the pigeons. We've had a couple presented to us, ready to eat, but hardly dents the local population.
