Pick 'em out with a (sterile) needle.
Grow a beard.
Depends where they are.
If it's neck make sure you shave with a very sharp blade, and stop using worn out blades.. diluted tea tree oil is a good lube. Don't use it neat.
Blunt blades or hacking too vigorously without good lube are the usual cause, as it tends to pull out hair rather than cutting it.
Dig ‘em out with a Swiss Army Knife.

No idea, I know one of them had a dodgy follicle & ended up with a nasty boil next to his anus.* He ended up in hospital cos it got so bad.
*not witnessed by me just re-iterated by prisoner & healthcare, in case you were going to ask. Which someone would have as this place is a bit predictable.
