I have just acquired a new(to me) citroen berlingo.

I only got one ropey looking key though - blade is starting to bend right at base.

I have the key code card

i have the old key.

i can buy a blank and i have lexia and interface to recode the transponder to the car

Timpsons wont cut a blank they have not supplied. 🙁

Any one know a decent locksmith in the aberdeen area ?

for anyone who suggests i go to citroen - your getting a slap. they wanted 120 quid plus vat to order a single key from the code.

although it appears the geezer in timpsons forgot to mention that according to their website the store on the other side of town does non remote transponder keys..... off to make a call.

I had a Ford car key done at Timpson's, 04 plate with keycode. They did a good job and the key works well, £40 when I was expecting £100+.

there is/was a lock place in Tory by the ABC Boathouse that might do this for you. I haven't used them in years so not sure if they are still there though

found a place online while googling

they will supply a cut blank to my key code for 6.50 each that i can code with lexia & has nothing but good reviews (except for those that didnt realise keys need coding...and wonder why it opens doors but wont start the engine)

at that price ill order 2 for each car (my van also only has one good condition key and i have peugeot planet for coding that) 😀

For me i want a company that will cut from the code i supply and they seem to do that.
