Anyone know anywhere that's good with German cars around Edinburgh?

I've a 10 year old Merc that has an intermittent engine warning light coming on, but I don't want to pay the official rip off merchants the exorbitant rate they charge.

Well - there's Deuste mark (sp?) - which I wouldnt go back to.

Howard Johnson (ferry road area) - not used personally but got recommended so might try.

However from experience there's a wee place on Queensferry road. Great for older bmw's ime and has a Q of mercs (I'm not old enough for a merc yet ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). Always - ALWAYS- busy though - so ring in advance. Small place. Dont expect coffee and wifi ๐Ÿ˜‰

The 2nd suggestion isn't even in Edinburgh ๐Ÿ™‚

Holy thread ressurection and that's a spammer. Recommending someplace off the M25 is stretching the "around Edinburgh" question just a bit ๐Ÿ™‚

I used to work for a guy that swore by the garage in Manderston Street. He had a VW van, and a Golf.

Well I did say it was busy. He might still be there.

So we have a clever spammer - one helpful link followed by a random to another garage 500 miles away.
