MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Black Dynamite.
Witless BBC3 on iPlayer.
Four Lions
Has anyone said Basekeball yet?
Weekend at Bernie's
Thanks to whoever recommended "Hunt for the Wilderpeople"
We watched it last night and really enjoyed it.
My Cousin Vinny
Another vote for Airplane.
And I am sure this means there is something wrong with me, but I laughed a lot at Sausage Party. All very silly, stoner, scatological humor, but very funny.
Hot Rod
^^^ Hot Rod is great, love Andy Samberg, he is awesome.
I also saw That's My Boy recently, which he's in (alongside Adam Sandler... who I hate as much as anyone possibly can so I must stress that somehow he DOES NOT ruin this film!) It's genuinely hilarious plus I'd never even heard of it before so the "special guest star" who pops up near the end was totally unexpected and had me almost wetting myself. Don't google it or even look up reviews if you don't want the surprise to be ruined!
Er......This is Spinal Tap.....end of!!
Yeah but Best in Show, A Mighty Wind....
The Mask always makes me laugh. The Jim Carey one, not the Cher one.
we are the Millers
Theres something about Mary
the latest Bridget Jones, not my cup of tea but I laughed out loud
"The Gods must be Crazy" South African film. Genuine laugh out loud.
Not a film but I think Yonderland is one of the funniest things on for ages

This film always gets me. I don't usually enjoy the sillier films of Jim Carey. This is silly in places and serious at times. It's also about the comedian Andy Kaufman who played the mechanic in the series Taxi with Danny De Vito, who plays a great role in this film.
Orgasmo, if you have that sort of sense of humour.
I don't mind Adam Sandler at all. He's made a lot of money out of convincing movie producers to let him and his mates piss about on camera. Fair play to the guy. And Happy Gilmore is a genuinely great film.
Other than that:
Sean Of The Dead, Semi-Pro, and series 1 of Eastbound & Down is amazing.
Cougar; I've just spent the princely sum of three English pounds on a DVD of Tucker & Dale vs Evil based on your recommendation and a subsequent YouTube trailer view. I'm confident this is a good investment, thank you 8)

You've just described Kevin Smith.

Cool. Please let me know how you get on with it.
The Other Guys
+1 for Hot Fuzz. A comedy classic, Simon Peggs finest moment IMO.
Simon Peggs finest moment IMO.
You've never seen Spaced I assume.
Bad Moms, out quite recently, was quite funny.

"The Gods must be Crazy" South African film. Genuine laugh out loud. epicyclo. This film is laugh out loud and more. The bottle scene from the outset sets the whole theme. It's a brilliant film.
Also. Funny bones. A lee Evans film that's well worth a viewing. It's a black comedy, it is definitely not what you would expect from Lee Evans. It's quirky, eccentric, dark and at times touching. I watched it twice in the same week.
Pretty much anything with Chevy Chase. 'National Lampoon's Vacation' still makes me laugh a lot.
I also still find 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' hits the spot. I'm pathetic really.
netflix has some standup stuff, ed byrnes different class is particularly funny - and, for me lol
Always found that Love, Honour & Obey makes me chuckle.
Pretty much anything with Chevy Chase
Amen to that. Fletch and Fletch lives have some classic quotes.

Awful film, unless your idea of humour is tying a dog to a car bumper, forgetting they are there and driving off. It starts off pretty well, but rapidly goes downhill.
I'd venture Naked Gun, Blazing Saddles, Airplane etc.
Firstly why have you stolen my identity ? secondly you could watch trading places
The most recent laugh out loud film I've seen was the brothers grimsby-bit near the knuckle for some though, if you life elephant gang bangs and nob /arse jokes this could be the one for you
my fall back film for belly laughs is the producers [ original not shit copy ]
A Million Ways to Die in The West.
We watched it on Tuesday night. Very, very funny.
A bit puerile in places but I did laugh out load.
And as a massive bonus, Charlize Theron is in it (wearing a Stetson).
There's enough funny bits in Pride to qualify and it will definitely make you "feel good" at the end.
Be warned, though, you will cry.

Watched this the other night, I agree with the above.
Also rewatched Hot Fuzz, that was funnier than I remember.
Micmacs: What the hell did I just watch? 😯
Four lions and The Campaign
I liked it. It's mad!
My choice for Christmas with Grandma and the kids.
Funny but NSFW.
Totally unknown, all amateur cast, made on a budget of about £10k.
Inspector Drake: The Movie.
Not safe for mother..
Ace ventura, 1 and 2. End of thread
I rented MICMACS off the recommendation on here, I thought it odd and not funny.
I must be getting really old.
Les Intouchables. You will laugh, you will cry. You will feel better at the end. My teens loved it despite subtitles. This after I told them they HAD to watch just the first five minutes.

Really don't get what's funny about Chevy, and I don't think I've laughed at a single joke in National Lampoon (are there any?).
Burn After Reading
Hot Fuzz
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
This is Spinal Tap
Wayne's World
Beverley Hills Cop
The Blues Brothers
Blazing Saddles
Trading Places
Borat
And leftfield; Pulp Fiction.
I'm waiting for Netflix to add all the Mel Brooks films to their library.
Grand Budapest.

Because you are dead, Kenny...?
If you like a zom-com, Warm Bodies and Zombieland.
For me it has to be Life of Brian.
Watched it with my newly acquired 14 yo step daughter who didnt like me and made it her sole objective not to laugh or even smile at anything I suggested or did. Her Mum left me in charge for the day, in sheer desperation I put the film on. She cracked within 10 mins and within half an hr was cuddled up on the sofa with me. It worked miracles and really broke the ice and her. It was just like one of those soppy tv adverts in real life.
14 years on she still talks about it.
The Cable Guy.
