Trip to Verbier planned in September.
Original flight scheduled to arrive early afternoon giving us time to get the train to Le Chable.

New flight landing 21:00 so looking for a hotel for one night which is near to both the airport and station. Priority is ease of logistics as we will have cases plus bike bags.

Any recommendations?

Many thanks

Can you not change onto an earlier flight or go the previous/next day? If this is a schedule change or cancellation and rebooking you should have options, assuming the flights are not full. Which airline?

You can get a free train to the city centre from the airport the day you arrive.

Whilst there are a few airport hotels, I would consider Airbnb too?

We stayed at the Ibis which is at the airport. You can walk to the hotel from the airport, only about 500m. Then in the morning you can walk back to the airport and catch the train from the airport station. Its really easy.

Thanks giant, sounds perfect.

Unfortunately there are no earlier flights. We were due to fly in from Liverpool but it appears that EasyJet have pulled the flight from their schedule so have had to book a later flight from Manchester.

Second the ibis. It's a short walk and perfectly reasonable for an over nighter.
They run a courtesy bus too

We have stayed twice at the Novotel which is near the palexpo. When we arrived we had a free travel pass round Geneva so got the bus from the airport to the hotel and then a bus the next day to the City.

I used the Ibis for work. I you haven’t used the Ibis before, there is more than one Ibis brand hotel in the same place, but at different price points. Not sure what the names are, but the cheaper one might e called Ibis Styles, or Ibis Budget. The main Ibis is just called Ibis.

The Ibis that is walkable to the terminal is the standard 2* Ibis called something like Airport Ibis and is fine there is a slightly fancier Ibis style 1km or so up the road near the freight side think called Palexpo....other option is 10minute train ride to city centre plenty of hotels bars food but I guess 9pm I'd be looking for a bed
