I want to sort out the security of our house this week. Its detached with an attached garage so front door, patio door, garage door and rear garage door along with lots of windows.
We've got a big dog who has the run of the house too which is great for security but not so good for "pet friendly" PIR's it would seem as the ones I've looked at so far are for animals up to 25kg
I like the look of the Yale wireless systems as its cheap, looks easy to fit and the key fob arming seems like a great feature but even that is looking pricy once I've added a dozen window and door contacts (if I can't use PIRs
I'd like to go wireless and DIY. its a low crime neighborhood so a full on pro installed monitored alarm would seem overkill.
I'm also after some LED security lights. Two big ones front and rear and a couple of small ones at the sides. Seems to be plenty on eBay but personal recommendation would be good
So - can anyone reccomend anything?
