Ive heard mixed reviews about the turtle beach x12 and the tritton trigger, ive also heard these arent usable when using hdmi connection on your tv, is this true and if so what adapters/leads do i need?? Or which one is ready to go out of the box??

Personally, I loved my x12's when i had a gaming headset.
Is that so the adapter fits "past" the hdmi when plugged into back of console?, iv heard you can plug the red/white phono leads direct into your tvs audio out? And totally bypass the need for the adapter, would this work or do i just stop being tight and buy the adapter lol.
