Looks like the viewing figures are dropping by the week and if I going to advertise my product I would not choose a channel with any political stance as not a good idea so would think they are struggling with advertising revenue.

Oh, don't be sad, I follow a selection of the right wing nut-bars (that still have a presence on twitter)...It often brightens an otherwise dull afternoon, and y'know, know your enemy etc. the comments and retweets can often be comedy gold as well.
I have to admit I'm enjoying watching GB News implode, I expect any day now the presenters will start to flee the sinking ship, citing they never knew it was going to be so toxic and they only wanted to work on a balanced blah blah blah hoping their careers won' go down with it.
There is some shame in it though, the few times I watched it, they never quite made the leap into that parallel universe that Fox News exist in, I had a feeling that eventually, after hearing their fears being vented on TV, viewers would be able to rationalise them, but I guess it wasn't to be, too many of them were willing to accept the "Marxist clause" in the BLM discussion to allow them to find false moral high ground on the wrong side of the argument.
I doubt GB News will survive the summer, which might not be such a good thing, News Papers are on their arse, their days are numbered, peoples fears (fear is always the seed of hate) will go unanswered any only grow as they believe they're being lied to in some big conspiracy.

I think that it's more a case of 69,974,999 viewers are boycotting because GB News is absolute toilet and Guto Hari (formerly one of Alexander Johnson's spokespeople) taking a knee upset someone's racist nan and tipped viewing figures into net zero.

The key learning from this, if there's a genuine cause and effect in "knee = zero viewers", is that there really were only racists watching it.

AFAIK, under their Harms and Offence the Ofcom guidance covers misleading statements in News only...Not commentary? It's one of the ways that Fox gets around it as well, if taken to court their defence is always "This is entertainment, only an idiot would assume this is news"

Oh sure, but the point is that that there are requirements in nearly every jurisdiction that make this sort of demand on broadcast news (certainly rules about it at a Federal level in the US), just as there are always work arounds...I don't think Ofcom is the major hurdle to GB News, Money is.

I haven't watched the channel, I think the positioning as essentially UKIP TV was essentially stupid as the viewers you attract are there for the echo chamber and will dump it if it doesn't meet their expectations and everyone else isn't watching it because it's marketed as UKIP TV

Yep, nothing like asking someone to do the Uncle Tom act to soothe the insecurities of viewers who "don't have a racist bone" in their bodies and who often explain to their minority background acquaintances and colleagues "you're okay but it's them others. You know, the ones that come here etc".
On a side note, I reported several accounts and tweets on Sunday night for racially abusive language. On Monday morning I noticed that at least three of these accounts suddenly had a picture of young black men in their profiles together with Jamaican flags and bio descriptions typed in MLE dialect.
Wonderful that such a horrid thing (the channel and its target audience) can so quickly eat itself.

I usually try and watch Spectator TV on YouTube whilst doing the washing up as the long interviews can be interesting, some interesting insights on likely covid explosion in the next few weeks, really good stuff on the cladding issue and you just skip past the idiots. So arguably target audience except I skip past the all the tripe they market as typical for GB News so have never bothered.

The lighting/sound on the bit I saw was genuinely significantly worse than a great number of individuals' YouTube channels.
