Over the last few weeks I have started using GE with my bike gps, butalmost for the last week I keep getting the error....
'Server Error, Were having trouble communicating with our Servers'.
I know there are lots of issues with GE and servers can be temperamental, anyone else having the same problem?
Yes I had the same message a few weeks ago trying to connect my Edge 800.
Followed the steps in the link below which seems to have fixed the problem:

Quite why that setting would have changed after years of connecting without issues I dont know.
Yes, I have tried that too earlier this morning, still not working. It has worked fine up until last night.
I will see if it works on the laptop.
Mine hasn't been able to sync for weeks now (Edge 520). I am just downloading the programme again and see if that helps
Well that seems to have fixed it 🙂
First green connection I have had in a long time. Uninstalled current Garmin Express (Version 5.XXX) and did a download and clean instal of the latest version (6.XXX). Et, voila. All working. Synced up nicely, all updates done and connected to Garmin Connect in seconds rather than minutes.
I will try uninstalling and then re-install. I have been in touch with support and I have sent them the log files as I have tried Win7, Win10 and on the laptop, no luck.
