Anyone been there in the last couple of years. When I used it in 1989 it was fine. In fact infinitely more pleasant than Corrour if more cramped. The most up to date info I can find seems to date from 2012 and suggest that its now getting a bit rough around the edges. Thinking of revisiting it this year.

We were there last year, August I think, and it was a bit of a bin inside, usual ****less knuckledraggers appear to have paid it a visit!

Amazing location though, worth it just to bivvy outside.

There have been discussions for some time now with the Landowner (National Trust for Scotland) on the future of the howff. Some want it demolished and the site 'returned to it's natural state' others, quite rightly in my opinion, want it refurbished.
