I'm looking to get a Hormann Sectional Door for my shiny new garage.
Can anybody recommend a supplier / fitter in the SW London area?
Alternatively, If anybody has fitted one themselves, how much of a ball-ache was it?
It was pretty easy. Took me a very relaxed day. The individual steps are a piece of cake, just spent time standing around looking at stuff, measuring it. Not an awful lot harder than Ikea furniture, but took my time making sure things were set up right.
For example, the framework you get is made of extruded parts with holes cut in. So you can simply count the visible holes instead of having to measure accurately.
Cheers - I found the install instructions online - as you say, doesn't look too hard.
Mine is Hormann too btw. Also I fitted the electric opener.
