What are we all on then, you lot?

I've popped into the local bakers (not Greggs, treacherously) and I've just inhaled 2 sausage rolls and I'm just reviewing a chicken and mushroom pie. I'm wandering down to the butchers at lunchtime to procure massive gammon steaks for gammon egg and chips tonight. I can feel my arteries hardening

What are you on then?

Usual rules apply. Nobody wants to hear about your salad. Porkers only on this thread

Burrito for lunch I reckon, likely combined with a bag of crisps and a cake of some kind.
Long run this afternoon (12 miles home from work) so filth will also be consumed when I get back, not sure what just yet.

Was in an uncharacteristically healthy mood this morning, so had poached, instead of scrambled, eggs with shrooms on toast this morning.

Shall be having some garlic, served with a pinch of pasta, bacon and cream at lunch time.

Chinese for tea.

Tonight I’m running the High Peak Marathon (basically a 12 hour roaming buffet). My food list to take along so far extends to

Mini beef pasties
Mini sausage rolls
Pizza
Fruit and nut
Flapjack
Oat bars
Wine gums
Fruit pastilles
Jelly babies
Trail mix

Only thing I’ve not done is to check it will all fit in my pack...

@Tuboflard - what time are you setting off?

I've been grazing on banana's & flapjack, then had a decent size falaffel and humus lunch then simple beans on toast for supper.

We're setting off at 1137 and my food list is =
4 caffeine gels, 4 regular gels
2 Chia Charge flap-jacks
6 decathlon fruit bars
3 chocolatey power bars
Marmite & paenut butter sandwhiches

Again the food seems to be taking up more space in my bag than anything else

Thanks Binners. I have nothing to add on the gastronomic front but it's a bit of light relief to have a fun thread for a change!

Well, a sensible day so far - Weetabix for brekkie, then a chicken salad sarnie for lunch.

Now it's time for beer and maybe some wine followed by a chicken curry and all the trimmings.

Low in fat 🙂

As an aside the view from my sofa gets weirder, and more backwards, every year.

Edit: Oh and Cougar, rising damp is a thing. Don't ask me how I know.

Hearth removed. Reward unveiled.

(I'm obviously wary of a 'new' crisp snack, but like I can be arsed to cook anything as fancy as gammon now)

Happy Friday all 🙂
