Seeing as the weather is turning biblical and it’s proper comfort food weather, what’ve we got then oh rotund ones

I went for a big bacon, sausage and egg barm earlier and just had a cheeky steak bake

What’s this infernal rain driven you too then?

Popped to the Post Office which happens to be next door to a chippy, so had a bag of chips, then had a pint of Bradfield Farmers Pale (my second favourite non-local brewery) sat outside my local in the sun

Leftover lasagne and garlic bread, a bit too much so now I feel like I need a nap.

My Fat Friday partner at work is skiving off working from home today, so no double Big Mac and accoutrements as planned, but a mountain of dim sum awaits me when I get home, so not too worried.

Had a big ol’ doner kebab for tea last night too. Objectively nothing special compared to those on the other thread, but I quite like it.

Nothing particularly special so far, but we're supposed* to be going to Foodie Friday later in...

*although, maybe not, given weather and various illnesses amongst participants

Last night's leftover Mac and Cheese with bacon, washed down with a chocolate eclair.

Had an hour and a half to kill in Nottingham while LittleMissMC and her pals tormented the poor cats in the Kitty Cafe, so I had a stroll that involved Evans Cycles, the music shop, Caffè Nero for a flat white and pain au raison, Wilkos, Waterstones and Greg's for a tuna roll and a steak bake.

Not sure why you are soggy, this is the current view from my window. Oh, I have just remembered, you live in the North.

I was going for a Caesar Salad with a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio
