I bought one of those Aldi satellite kits mainly to get a digital receiver so that I can pick up digital Eurosport now the analogue signal has gone. For the moment I've got it connected to my old dish and luckily it has a universal lnb connected. So I thought all I had to do was make sure the receiver was set to pick up the signal from the Astra 1 satellite and the rabbit's in the hole! I've done a normal scan and a blind scan and I cannot get Eurosport. I get other channels, mainly German, so it appears the dish/lnb/receiver setup is all good.
What am I not doing right?
Check if transponder 12226 MHz (H-pol, 27500 bit rate) is in the list. If it's not, add it manually, and rescan that transponder.
If it was there, then dunno.

are handy to know what there is to see. These cheap FTA boxes usually have Astra 19.2 pre-programmed, but they're not always totally up to date.
