Lets see your objects of desire. An unusual choice maybe, but I saw one of these in the flesh and realised that push bikes are for children 🙂

I'm either too old, or ride too fast/far - 'cos naked bikes just don't do it for me.

Fine to about 80 (on a sunny, warm day), otherwise too much hard work.

Happy to have my big fairing/screen this morning as I splashed to work.

At the moment, what I really really want is an old-style draftsmans drawing board. One of the ones with the big cast iron base

[img] [/img]

Imagine how many have gone into landfill or been melted down? 🙁

If I was ever very, very rich I'd buy a house by a lake, just so I could have one of these.

I was involved with an inspection of an old fabrication building in Teesside prior to it's demolition;

I would have loved one of these, but sadly they were all scrapped.

(Sorry to piss on yer chips and all that)

My ultimate boss's job.

(He's succession planning, and there are three of us from within the business who are deemed to have the right stuff. Scary.)

What I love about cycling is that for the most part, it is within the realms of possibility to own your dream bike (unlike cars, boats, planes, motorbikes etc etc)

I have my heart set on one of these, but I need to get Cervelo out of my system first.

JEngledow - i honestly haven't a clue. I've nowhere to put one of the buggers anyway. That doesn't stop me wanting one. And a room to put it in

The drawback being that 3 to 5 years later your dream bike changes and you need to replace it 😈

I still love my current bike and I don't think I'd really notice any difference with an updated version, but knowing that it is out there sort of eats away at me inside especially when you turn up at races and see other peoples newer and shinier bikes

timbur - you can sleep when you are dead dude, now is the time to attack life, but only after you have made your missus a cup of tea and told her what a clever girl she is.

The HP2 looks better without the fairing.

I would like the HP2 in my garage but if you were at the lights next to the S1000RR and watched it disappear you would be thinking why did I pay more money for the HP2 🙂

I'd need one of these to drive them though:

i saw its older brother (similar to below) in croyde earlier this week. from an aesthetic point of view, the older one is better (although i'm quite into 80s/early 90s VWs) - i could just never be botherd with the faff of maintaining it!
