Saddest song I've ever heard.

Holly Williams, Waiting on June.

I don't care what the music is but once they start using Auto Tune it's dead to me.
Meanwhile here is the embodiment of what country is.
Sir George Jones.

Generally not keen on country, but always make an exception for these two artists.

And Johnny Cash obviously...

The wonderful Gillian Welch and David Rawlings

Emmylou Harris, and a song that can reduce me to a complete wreck under the right conditions.

Brad Paisley - Mud on the Tyres
Terry Clark - Girls lie too
Amy Daley - Men don't change
Brad Paisley and Keith Urban - start a band

Or just watch the country music awards 2015. I'll post a link rather than a vid as this page is getting heavy.

Ooh I'm not sure I would put Cowboy Junkies under "Country" though. Fabulous band, fabulous album.

How about Julie and Buddy Miller?

I'm guessing you've all heard the Hank III soundtrack to the vid on the front page so I'll go with this one . . .

Well then, you suprised me !

Honestly thought this would fall flat as a flat tyre on a pickup truck.. I shall check these recommendations out later.

I have a particular bent when I comes to country, normally anything that's not from Nashville gets my vote of approval, preferably from the real southern states and since I lived in Florida for some time I have a passion for anything Florida/Georgia and Texan.

G'd ol' boys, trucks, girls, beer, parties, sunsets, jeans, t-shirts, boots and county rock.

I should've stayed over there shouldn't I ๐Ÿ™‚

Not sure what Country is really it is a phrase that covers such a huge range of music. This is on the fringe some where

Anyone around tonight ?

Well have to say I lost touch with this Ol' Chap back in about 09', since joining Apples Music thingy, he came poppin n hoppin along and headed into my earphones... So, well, as we had a "have you listened to a whole album" thread the other day, this is what I've had on replay 3 times so far..

Kenny Chesney.. (yeah I know right!)
