This is true. However it's nice to look at all that super shiny bling stuff and know what Tom Howard will be listing on the classifieds in a few weeks.

I ain’t no serial bike/part swapper. Though I’d someone from this century could buy my road bike, that would be nice (prospective buyer can’t do bank transfers or PayPal apparently)

Stealth ad, reported 😉.

All you need to do though it's sell it as a "narrow tyred fast gravel bike". A road bike is really only going to attract people who think cheques are a sensible payment method.
