In a low rent freeview zone and I fancy a paupers holiday of TDF coverage.

The house already had a dish fitted and wired when I moved in, is it just a case of buy the box and conect? looked on the website and it goes on about dish checks and contracts. Not in a contract and dish seems to be sound and in right direction.

Assuming the dish is pointing the right way (in the same direction as it would for sky) then just buy a box and plug in. However if you decide to get one of the freesat recorders you'll need to have two cables running from the dish.

Yup, just connect a freesat box up to the dish and off you go.

Looks like just one cable, dish points the same way as rest of road. Thats good enough for me. Thanks.
