So very tempted, having a kitchen fitted atm and it turns out today the range we ordered for delivery today is not available until December....
Think the wife would kill me if I brought a broken range home, but after three months of no kitchen I'm sorely tempted...

I think they cost around 1400 quid new.

If you could be arsed fitting a new fan and element then.....
I'm just not interested in maintenance...
E.g. the time I let my kids brake pads wear through.... the backing plate of the pads..... Then the pistons until at one point all the hydraulic fluid poured out.
If you're better than that at maintenance then that might be worth your while.
Got a van, ( though it is a bit scratched at present 😫) so might be persuaded to deliver it if you make a donation to charity.
The wife has organised another range. The one we just got rid of sounds just like yours, thermostat was busy and I'd lost a couple of bits after giving it a proper clean...
Going to clean the portable bbq so I can have a bacon butty this weekend, it's been months...
