Hi,
My company has a small group of people who are looking to develop coding and automation skills as many of the products we sell now come with APIs to extend their functionality.
I am looking for a free solution to allow us to share knowledge and code between ourselves but nothing as formal as github.
If things take off I can approach the relevant budget holders and ask them to stump up for a paid service but, initially, I would like something that is free for a small group of users - say 5.
Any suggestions welcome.

Notion, Nuclino or Tettra are worth a look

Run a wiki? There's a billion free instances out there. Or, gists on GitHub are really useful for sharing random pieces of code.

Not a complete solution but what about doxgen to help document the API? Then add some examples.

What bug tracker do you use? We run Redmine, and the wiki it has is perfectly adequate for this kind of thing. All available for free.

MS Devops has a built in Wiki and whilst you may not want to use repos now it'll accommodate them in future (plus all the Kanban stuff etc that's there).
