i've got 2 of his cd's, lyrical genius
i'm currently loving "heartless Btard mother fer"
I don't get it. Is is he supposed to be funny or is the whole point just that he is a bit crap?
Just say him again last week, good show... Bit more "big band" though, preferred the stripped down acoustic sets I think.
(why recommend Long Live The Queen? It's a lovely sentiment etc but it's not a very good song, the lyrics are mince tbh...)
Also there's something about his music that just suits mountain biking... Hang on, here's one I made earlier...
Anyone got any recommendations for similiar stuff? Chris TT obviously, Chuck Ragan I guess though he's a bit more trad US folk, Emmy the Great, Joie Dead Blone Girfriend, but that's where I run out... Occasional Bad Religion acoustic tracks.
