Hi. I serviced my forks the other day, they are 2008 version, I've done it a couple of times before, and both went perfectly well. but this time, the rebound damping feels shit. As in there is no rebound at all for the initial 2" of travel.

These forks are the ones with the rubber boot thing at the bottom of the rebound unit. I'm guessing for some reason there isn't enough oil in there? I've messed with the oil levels but no effect. Is there a specific method for filling the chamber with oil and replacing the rubber tube thingy?

Even better, anybody know where I can get a service guide?

sounds like you need to bleed the bladder. I believe there are instructions on the Fox website for it. Failing that, goodle Fox 36 cartridge service. I've not done the service yet but I did see instruction out there in webland recently.
