Serviced my shock today and was surprised and disappointed in the quality of the ptfe components. There appeared to be a lot of ‘carbon’ deposits in the ptfe? The rings taken out also had what I would call contamination in them. Is this normal?
I ask because I used to work in the polyester film production business and such manufacturing ‘carbon’ deposits/contamination were not welcome.
