Can anybody explain it to me? Ubuntu, the newest version, Firefox, not such a new version, slow for a while. Much quicker if Opera used. Anybodby knows why? Anybody knows how I can transport all the passwords and bookmarks to Opera?
Mines ok on New Ubuntu but I can't get my bloody firefox updated to new version 🙁
That's the problem, new one is so much quicker.
Used to be that you could just download the new version of Firefox from mozilla.org and unpack it into your home directory, and run it from there.

Can't help thinking it's over complicating matters though.
Thanks, doesn't seem to be working. O well, I wish there was an equivalent of [i]turbo[/i] in Firefox (Opera has it and it works).
