The forum seems to be crashing for me quite a lot this morning - after I go into a thread, read it and click 'overview" it loads but then crashes.
Anyone else finding this? Safari on Mac fwiw
Yep, most days it crashes or fails to load several times. Been like that for months.
Unuseable on an iPhone for me now, simply freezes all the time.

It freezes or I get a message saying it has frozen and I can either 'wait' or 'exit the page'
I've assumed it's related to the adverts - mainly because when I get the message pop up the page hasn't loaded all the adverts, there are large blank areas of the page??
I'm using Chrome on a Dell laptop with Windows.

Yup. Chrome on Android is particularly bad but it's also bad on Safari on a Mac as well.
Autoplay ads that take over the device audio are not cool either.

Quite often in the last few weeks I've just closed all tabs with STW and left it for a few days. Tempted to have a flounce and leave but not sure I could cope with the resulting void in my day.

Yep. Chrome on mac - frequent "page unresponsive" errors. It took two attempts to post this. I remember the same being an issue a year or two back, but has been fine until last week or so.
No problems for me using chrome on both W10 and Android. Logged in with cookies allowed.
Must be a bloody nightmare for a developer to maintain compatibility over so many browser and OS combinations.
fwiw, I've just enabled adblocker (I know!) and it's still crashing as it was without ad blocker.
Don't know if that means it's not to do with the ad's or what but may help the IT folk narrow down the problem.

That assumes you don't get logged out all the time!

Chrome/Android. It's been very slow this morning. I've had to give up trying to load pages, go back to the topic list and try again.
It's the new AI feature, Absolutely Infuriating
Constantly, using Chrome.
It's OK using MS Edge, which I don't use.
Firefox on Mac is working fine as is Samsung own browser on Android.

I'm a subscriber and it's still very flaky. One post happens in an instant, the next just crashes and it never comes back!
Sometimes a page loads instantly, some time it times out and I get website unavailable or a weird webserver error.
I think the hamsters are very very poorly at the moment.
Given up trying to read the forum on my phone (android/chrome).
Usual problem is when I open a thread I only see the first few posts and no amount of reloading will get the rest of the thread to appear.
I just get the usual 502 bad gateway error and occasional hanging when loading
Constant freezing all week, safari, ipad
Borderline unusable on my Samsung phone.
Will half load pages, freeze up and generally poor.

Just in case you think it’s fixed - it’s not. Totally unusable on Chrome/iOS, about usable (as badly as normal - excessive power consumption etc) on Safari/iOS.

When it hangs, i find it easier to open a new tab, select STW from my bookmark, and load that, which pretty much does so instantly.. I then close the hanging tab.
It almost feels like someone else is using that thread, or in the middle of posting something and im waiting for them to finish.
