I need this image so that it is a black silhouette where the biker is (me)and the rest is all blank (white).

This is crucial for the mountain bike front I am doing for a short film I am making atm, accreditation will go to who ever does it the best (in the credits) and this will be acknowledged in this thread. Please can you post your name when you complete this task.

cheers!

you should take a rake to your lawn, all those stones are a disgrace, not to mention the damage they must do to your lawnmower! prevention is better than cure!

Think you might have had the white balance a bit off with this shot, did you shoot in RAW or just jpeg?

Looks like your white balance is set for tungsten, when it should be daylight. Very low contrast too.

Can't do any fancy cutouts but I've improved the colour a bit on my phone. Can't access Photoshop or my computer at the mo'.

I reckon the Count has made a sh1te pic almost acceptable. Want complex PS work done? Pay someone.

Given how crap the photo is, I don't think there is going to be much recognition from editing it (you can't polish a turd etc) - and I also wonder that the quality of the film will be like.

The edit IS clearly an improvement btw. I have done a crappy version of what you asked for because I'm bored - but given your attitude I CBA posting it. 🙂

Before I do it I'd like to know exactly how you're intending on using the image in the film.

Thanks.

it would be an online 'cover' if you will to accompany the link and feature it, i can do the basics but details such as the spokes would be too hard and delicate for me

okay, I can see it working for that. Have you got a sample of some of the footage to give me an idea of the standard of the rest of the video.

I don't mind doing it to help you out but can't have my professional name tarnished.

Cheers.

hmm, I think I might wait until you've made the video then before wasting anymore of my time.

You might find that you come across a better image once you've done some filming.

661s, Oakleys, Nike 6.0s, High Rollers and ting. Then a Carerra on a bland piece of bridleway.

Class.

Why not just draw round it using a graphics tablet and remove the underlying picture

That is incredibly rude. Count Zero went to the effort of improving (if you knew anything about photography/images you'd understand) your picture with very limited means, and that's how you respond? Someone tried to help as much as they could, yet you have the gall to criticise and not even be thankful?

You ask if someone can perform a relatively complex task for you, yet you show little understanding of what's involved. I personally have neither the knowledge nor the means to perform such a task, but I do at least appreciate that it is not a 2-second job. Then you have the audacity and arrogance to come back and tell everyone your mate did it. Why didn't you just ask them in the first place?

Are you deliberately taking the piss or what?

Well judging from that,

1, your rude as ****
2, if your mates a designer he hates you as that looks hump
3, let me remind you what a ****tard you sound

If your mate wants his graphic business to progress, maybe you should suggest he learns to use the 'pen' tool rather than the 'magic wand' tool.

"my mate has done it for me, he runs a small graphics buisness,"

Why has he put a fat levitating cat doing a sh*t in the middle of your rear wheel?

Here's my effort. I'm afraid it's a pearoast from the last six or seven years - couldn't be bothered doing a bespoke version but it turns out that even typing in the URL makes the hourly rate considerably less than I'd normally charge, so look on the bright side eh.

mumsnet claims the plane will stay on the ground, given the extra weight of a Halfords bike. And that's good enough for me.
