Never had one, hate any sort of jewellery, hard pushed to even wear a watch.

Fighting women off? I guess I have that sort of 'owned' look so they seem to shy away! 😯

I used to, stopped when doing regular manual work, never re-started.
Mrs M doesn't wear one either. She lost hers

it will need to look exactly like the one I lost or I might get found out.

I reckon if she hasn't noticed you've lost it yet then she is unlikely to notice you've replaced it with a similar one 😀

(unless of course you haven't actually lost it, she has hidden it and is playing mind games with you)

been married 5 years this summer and am on Wedding ring No3..
I don't wear it much, only for social occasions/maybe the odd 'office day'
It is a simple Ti band so not too flashy.

I used to wear it 24/7 - until I had to hack-saw my mates one off in the middle of the Sahara desert after he caught it on a bolt on the roofrack of his Landrover, as he jumped off.
do a google image search for 'degloving' you'll get the idea...

My Mrs don't wear hers much either as she's a science teacher and is forever washing her hands at school, due to handling nasty chemicals etc...

Wear mine, except at night and for sports, manual labour. Feels strange when it is off during the day. I also have a gold bracelet which my fiancée gave me when I gave her an engagement ring. That comes on and off the same as the ring.

My wife wears hers all the time. However here engagement and wedding ring had to be cutoff after a skiing accident earlier in the year.

Those that don't wear one: how do you fight the women off?

Yes it is rather hard I'll admit, but having no teeth helps.
That and wearing girls pants over my suit.

No; my knuckle is big and my finger is skinny, the ring I had rattled about and bugged the hell out of me.

^ this, so it's on my key ring now and I'm never without it!

Been wearing mine coming up to 13 years and never take it off. Was originally my mum and dads wedding rings that was melted down and made into one so it has a high sentimental value to me.

I imagine most women will answer yes, and most gentlemen will answer no, purely because it looks naff next to the ring gentlemen wear on their little finger.

I believe it has lately become 'fashion' for some married males to wear a wedding ring, another reason to avoid it at all costs.

I wear it most of the time, take it off for climbing and some more out there paddling / sailing stuff and wear round neck on string. Feels odd to not have it on.

Never wanted one. The Mrs wears one but it wouldn't bother me if she didn't.

Yep wear one. Take it off (and attach to key clip) when doing anything with increased risk of finger damaging (the idea of degloving scares me)... building, landscaping, woodworking, rock climbing, etc.

I'll be getting mine on Saturday 😉 I'm hoping I can get used to wearing it since I don't generally wear rings....plus, it cost a few quid so be a shame not to!

I have a wedding ring but made the mistake of getting it in 14ct which means it scratches easily so it spends most if it's time in the wifes jewellery box. It tends to just come out for occasions and holidays.

I will do when I get married .It has already been bought for me and is titanium. It cost a bloody sight less than the 1500 quid one I am buying for her

I wore one from the moment we exchanged in the church 19 years ago to the point when it had to be cut off from my swollen finger prior to surgery 2 years ago. I haven't worn it since and don't really think about it much, to be honest.

I do seem to have a hard time keeping the women at bay now, mind.

i lost my wedding ring a couple of months ago. i have lost quite a bit of weight this year and think the ring slipped off when taking my bike gloves off.

not bothered about replacing it to be honest and the missus is not fussed.

Me and ms tr have had this argument a few times.

I hate rings and have said i would ony wear a ring on formal occasions.

High chance of degloving . We are not allowed them on site at work

At home im often doing diy about the house , tinkering with bikes/cars/grinders/saw and welders

Swimming cycling and the gym.

Itd be on and off like a yo yo ..... Lost in no time.

This statement never goes down well , thus i am not yet married 😉

Edric - I know what you mean, my titanium wedding ring was about 1/20th my wifes wedding ring (..but it did save my finger being crushed when I dropped two boxes of granite tiles on it!)

Have one; don't wear it as I'd be forever taking the bloody thing on & off at work to wash my hands and I'd lose it.

Didn't want one in the first place, but it was made clear it was important to Mrs RBIT that I had one, and my not wearing it precipitated an early argument during which she said she wouldn't take my name if I wouldn't wear it... which was fine by me as I'd not expected her to.

Always wear it - felt weird initially, and it slipped off a few times (cue panic!). Got it resized properly, and now I rarely know its there, but always know if it isn't (take it off if lifting rocks/slabs to prevent scratching).

First time i was married (when i was still a brickie) i only wore it when not working.

Second time round i'm not on site anymore and wear it all the time. It's titanium and lovely 🙂

Do not have one and never will. I do not wear jewellery or even a watch. I personally think jewellery on blokes looks wrong.

My wife would like me to have a ring though.

Been married 16 years and never owned a wedding ring. Bought my wife Engagement wedding and eternity rings. She bought me a set of headphones and the 1st album by Terrorvision. Perfect

Off for DIY and climbing only otherwise it's on all the time. I don't find it a problem when on the bike. It's a Claddagh so it's prone to catching on clothes, crown facing out heart tip in to reinforce the message. I'm still a bit keen on Mrs S after 30 years together (married for 27).

Not married quite yet (will be in September) but have got a titanium ring which I plan on wearing all the time. Chose ti as hopefully it won't look too bad once it's been scraped and grazed and so on.

Hubby doesn't wear one as I don't like jewelry on men, luckily he wasn't too bothered.

My ring comes off at night and when mtbing. Never had an engagement ring, so that wasn't a problem.

Yup I wear one....neither my Dad or his Dad have ever worn one and I was very sceptical, but my wife insisted....I wear it 24/7 now and it feels weird if I take it off.

Got my 1st wedding anniversary coming up at the end of the week too 😀

Like the OP, I wore mine for many years until hand swelled up after breaking my collarbone. Now wear it on and off. But not whilst cycling.

Yep every day but off when I come home. Drives me nuts if I forget to put it on in the morning. Not a jewerly person at all no watch, etc Mrs W not worried if I forget to put it on, but I like what it symbolises I guess.........

Not all the time, but most of the time. Husband has a ring but only occasionally wears it, he doesn't like the feel of it so it just bugs him. I'm not sure he even knows where it is now, we've not been married a year and hes lost it :/
