I have been using these for goodness shakes for sometime now....but as they are getting quite expensive....would a pint of milk be almost as good as these shakes ?

I would say just a regular milkshake, probably has a bit more sugar than just milk which is quite good for restoring some energy in your muscles after some exercise. Last time i checked a regular choc milkshake still had 16g of protein so must do you some good.

They taste like death. Nothing could get me to drink those things on a regular basis. I suspect it's the vitamin content coming through, as the rank flavour is pretty much the same as the one you get from a multivitamin tablet.

I suspect it's slightly better for recovery than a Yazoo, but the flavour is so horrendous that I'd never choose to drink a For Goodness.

Cheap supermarket chocolate milk shake powder and a multi vit/min is fine by me.
