I was prompted to update my flash player, so followed the link and did so.

Now i can't watch videos, all i get is 'you need to install the latest flash player......'

What have i missed.

I've not a clue about pc's so give me the idoits guide...

Running XP home

I think it goes something like 'completely uninstall the Flash player and reinstall it'

Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs

Highlight 'Adobe Flash Player Plugin' and click the 'Remove' button.

Revisit the site requiring the Flash player and follow the instructions to reinstall it.

I think. Seem to have been there myself a while ago.

I had the same problem and tried to download the latest version by following the links,it said that it had downloaded but bugger all worked!
Know nowt about computers but managed to sort it out by clicking on the different operating system tab on the link and downloaded it to my desktop then installed it from there. Good luck.

your running VISTA i bet had the same problem myself, tried remving ld program etc nowt worked, got the old man to sort it in the end.Its something to do with user preferences i think. best of luck!
