ok so my shower enclosure stops about 40 cm from the ceiling and in my effort to reduce the draughts in the bathroom (from the extractor fan, in the shower enclosure) i want to fill this in with a piece of polycarbonate sheeting. Basically so when the shower door is closed cold air from the extractor fan vent cant escape (shower door has a pretty good seal on it)
Anyway, i can get a sheet of polycarbonate cut to size online, but not sure of the best way to fix it to the walls either side. I was thinking of just some small 90 degree brackets in the corners, but wondered if theres any other method that will look neat, eg some specially designed metal / plastic sort of rail you screw to the wall and it clips in.
Probably not describing what i'm looking for very well, but maybe someone knows what i have in my head ๐
would an easier and neater solution not be to fit inline shutters into your fan - fan on - shutters open - fan off shutter shut ?
we had one in a rental , made quite a difference as the wind used to whistle in before it was fitted.
wasnt sure how effective they are but might try one if you reckon they are ok
If you know a good type of these I'd like to knjow - our bathroom fan has a grille on it but it's just open all the time.
icon was the brand we had
