What do I need here?

Need a fixed door stop for a laminate floor - probably one of the ones that screws into the floor would be ideal but…

Probably just longer screws than those supplied, enough to go through the laminate, its underlay and into the wooden floorboards beneath.
I suppose if its a 3 point fixing, even into laminate theyre going to hold quite well, despite the laminate being relatively thin, but if you go for longer theres no chance of it ever loosening off.

This is problematic as you shouldn't screw through the floor into the subfloor, as it will prevent floor expansion and may cause buckling.

You could drill an oversize hole in the laminate and then use a washer so that the door stop is fixed, covers the expansion gap and doesn't clamp the floor.

But a weighted unfixed stop (think oval metal puck with a rubber edge), or a wall mounted door stop would be easier and less permanent.

Alternatively you could get one that screws into the skirting board so the door is bonking into a surface, not dragging a fixing along it. a vertical one will put lots of sideways pressure on the screw, and that could shag your floor. A repair to a skirting board (and the pressure is into the surface, not across it, if you see what I mean) is easier to repair and paint over. We've got something like this: door stop thingy which works a treat on our doors.
I've probably not explained that too well, but hopefully the pics in the link do a better job.

Use a screw in one with a short screw so it only grabs the laminate. Add glue.
