Which are the go to brands for a slim fit? Just bought a Kilpi off Sportpursuit and it's very nice indeed, perfect arm and body length but too big around the torso. I'm a lanky 6'3" 83kg streak of piss though, any recommendations? Also needs to be matt, I can't stand shiny down jackets!

I got a Jack Wolfskin one that is fitted and a good fit on me. I'm 5'11" and wear a small or x-small @73kg so find it difficult to get clothes that look fitted and reach to my wrists!

I'm very similar build to you, maybe an inch taller and have this jacket in a size large, https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/forclaz-700-men-s-down-hiking-jacket-blue/_/R-p-12077?mc=8317909&c=BLACK
It's matt, pretty understated and fit me really well. I like it a lot.

You might be my twin, I'm closer to 6'4". Are you short sighted and ugly? If you are then it's uncanny!

Shame that one doesn't have a hood, might keep the Kilpi, at least I can layer up underneath in the frigid Sussex winter......

I have a Montane Icarus in medium that's lovely and fitted on me (6'2", 75kg). It's PrimaLoft ThermoPlume rather than down though.

I'm 6'5" and 80kg, I have a Hi Gear one from Go Outdoors in size small which is nicely fitted on me and works well if I want to put a waterproof over the top.

I'm 6ft, and 75kg, and wear a Fjern Arktis in medium.

it's quite tightly fitted. Pretty good, as most of their stuff seems to be (I know it's the sports pursuit home brand)

in hindsight, i'd have quite liked a https://www.isobaa.com/products/mens-merino-wool-insulated-jacket-black-blue - seems sold out, but used to be on SP as well

The latest Rab seems to be a slimmer fit in the body, certainly one we have is less boxy than an older model.

Genuine question - how can a size small anything outwear fit length wise if you're 6'5"? Is the sizing on Hi Gear stuff way out or something?

I have a Jottnar Fenrir and it fits really well. I’m 6’7” and 85kg.

If a size small fits me then it does suggest the sizing is a bit off, but it's nice to have something that fits well once in a while!

I’ve got an Inov8 one.

Given most runners are stick thin should be good

Yep, I'm 5'9" and normally take M or L in most outdoor gear!
