I often keep nmerous windows open and when looking at the long list see that some are highlighted in orange whilst others are grey . Anyone know why ? can't find much by googling.
thanks in advance

I remember reading somewhere that data on that page has updated - but you have not 'clicked' on the tab, and viewed the page.

I've just ditched FF due to a ridiculous memory leak... Chrome here we come.

Have they not fixed that yet? You can refresh a single page and just watch the memory usage go up and up and up. It's not like it's a difficult issue to replicate.

Chrome FTW.

2.8GB of RAM was my record for FF4 the other day.

Had tabs with GMail; BBC news; and Facebook open for 3 days.

Add-ons: Adblock; Firebug; GreaseMonkey;

Chrome seems to be happy... for now.

i'm using vista if that helps. it's the list at the bottom of the page that shows the number of windows and the tab that they are displaying.the list only appears when you exceed a certain number of windows as before then they are shown seperately.
