I have lost all sound on the internet (or has someone turned off the main switch??). I still have sound through the speakers (ie email alerts), but none through the internet (ie youtube etc)
Any ideas what I might have done or what I can do to sort it?

Try reinstalling the Flash plugin
Does it work OK in IE?

sometimes the obvious things - has the volume within YouTube been turned down or muted?

Had checked the volume thing, not sure how to reinstall flash player, but turned out I didn't have the latest firefox. Installed that and problem solved
