Can anyone suggest a nice quiet/primitive site in mid Wales? Wild or tap in a field type.
Say south of Llangollen and north of Builth Wells.
Optimum would be near a pub but not essential.

Llwyngwern farm near Pantperthog, riverside camping, campside fires allowed.
Three miles from Machynlleth with some great mountain biking.
Not as rough and ready as you require, but doubt you'd be disappointed.

My Aunt and uncle have a farm with a certified location field near llanfyllin? Nice pub 10min walk away. Drop me an email if you want more details
