[#6125014]

Im a little out of touch with the jap car scene as i haven't driven it in over 6 years. It starts on the button as it always has and runs fine so I'm thinking about throwing some money at it to bring it back to its former condition.

Lovely - I'd loose the rear wing for a cleaner look IMHO

No spoiler for me. Rx7s are such a nice shape they really don't need the spoiler.

It may be the many hours of playing Need For Sped Underground. But I like the spoiler!
I guess it will have a slightly more 'toned down' look without tho.

The Tazda, my m8's track day car a RX7 with a GM LS3 (modified) motor.

He occasionally turns up with his MTB in the back (it's a bit tight)

Always loved the RX7 shape, IMHO they just don't look right without a spoiler. Id say look at something a bit more subtle like a lip spoiler.

Keep the spoiler.
It looks so much better.
What kind of power does that car have?

Standard is around 250 but mine is a little higher with a tuned ecu bigger intercooler and lots of other mods.

Beautiful motor. Wish I had the money for one. I would personally change the wing. Enjoy it as they always turn heads.

I think I'm going to remove it today and see what the smooth look looks like.

Trust me, it will look worse without.
Is it actually doing something or is it a show spoiler?
At that kind of power it's probably pushing the car down quite a bit to help with handling.

To be honest it's more show than go. The original spoiler was very low and discreet but I changed it years ago for this one as the high wing track look was very much the in thing. Now I feel its a little to showy.

Weeds in the gap between drive and path, hedge needs cutting and from the photo it looks like your porch fascia needs a lick of paint.

Keep the spoiler

Spoiler looks right to me, no idea if it's scene or not. It's never going to be an understated car is it?

Keep the spoiler, it's pretty subtle by the standards of a lot of mods IMHO

Nice looking car and maybe 20 years ago I'd have said keep the spoiler.

However for me now I'd say keep it if the car needs it, but otherwise something a lot more subtle would be more my cup of tea.

I prefer subdued looks but ridiculous amounts of power and grip.

If you are looking to be part of a scene or in with the owners clubs etc then the looks are probably more important.

The RX7, especially a good one, is one of the few cars that looks right with a spoiler on it. They actually look a bit awkward without one IMHO. Yours isn't exactly huge, looks purposeful and you don't have a lairy bodykit on there. I'd definitely keep it, or if you're really worried about it's looks put a subtle one on instead.

Although you have done my pet peev on modded cars, a number plate with illegal spacing. Apart from that, a lovely machine.

Well, he'll fetch the paper if you ask nicely and scratch his ears.

Not tried anything else.
